You may have driven past Flempton Green and wondered what the odd pile of bricks were lying next to the Parish Noticeboard. They were in fact part of the edging of the Millennium Time Capsule that was laid at the Village Fete on the 8th of July 2000, so that future generations could remember and celebrate the Millennium. 

It was looking a bit sad so we commissioned Steve Brown, local builder and Flempton resident, to give it a makeover. He will also be giving the noticeboard a lick of paint when the weather improves. We have also commissioned Wayne Jarvis to trim the trees on The Green which should be taking place on January 16th.
